Week 12 - Now vs then

I think that I'd probably be a little bit more optimistic in my image choice if this task had been set a couple of weeks ago! There are currently too many deadlines looming and extra-curricular additions, which makes it feel very hard to focus on one thing at a time and do that one task well, which is how I try to work, as I know how distracted I can get. I need to tick a few things off my list to help get the ball rolling, so that I can see the end in sight! At the beginning of this course, I was not teaching on a regular basis and had had no real experience behind the curtain, having only ever been a guest tutor or lecturer. This course has helped me understand the some really valuable strategies and key theories for supporting students through higher education, which has made my recent experience in regular tutoring a lot less daunting. I really want to make sure I keep reflecting and referring back to what I've learnt on this course.
