I have really resonated with the concept of the flipped classroom, it really makes a lot of sense. Especially in a practical course like graphic design, although as a Masters we cover theoretic thinking too, we want the students to be able to be better designers when they complete the course. The concept takes into consideration different forms of learning, which is a contemporary way of teaching – students don't all react to the same information in the same way, and we want them to think independently too.

I was able to practice this approach in the webinar I ran this week – also writing a session plan helped me focus on what I wanted the students to learn and how. It has made me want to be more adventurous in my webinar planning in the future.

The videos supplied in this week's material has been very useful, but I now need to think how this can be effectively translated to my course. What material should we provide students between teaching time? How can we use technology to make these webinars as beneficial as possible? How do we adapt the challenges to the different abilities and interests?

I am looking forward to planning my flipped classroom content for the first assessment of this module, I have some ideas of the content of the recorded part but need to consider more how to use the webinar....
