Week One

First things first: I read a lot of introduction information!

Then, what should I do my micro-teach session on? As my primary style of teaching immediately after this course will be online, I think this should be where I start. I would like to do some on-site teaching during the course, but will start with online.

Starting to consider the Learning Conversation: there are a number of people I would like to do this with, including Martin Grimer of Greenwich College.

How does teaching on a creative course differ from a more traditional higher education subject? And how do you assess work in such a subjective field?

This makes me want to re-read Chip Kidd’s The Cheese Monkeys!
